Data Collection

Rachunator is designed with your privacy in mind:

• No Server Storage: We do not store any of your personal data or receipts on our servers
• Local Storage Only: All your scanned receipts and data are stored locally on your device
• No Login Required: The app works without any account registration or authentication
• No Personal Information: We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, or any other identifying information
• No Receipt Content: We do not access, analyze, or transmit the content of your receipts

Analytics

To improve our app and understand how it is used, we collect anonymous usage statistics:

• Firebase Analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymized usage data
• Anonymous Data Only: All analytics data is completely anonymous and cannot be linked to you personally
• Usage Patterns: We track general app usage patterns (e.g., which features are used, app crashes) to improve the app
• No Receipt Tracking: We do not track or collect any information about your receipts or their content

Device Permissions

Rachunator requests the following permissions to function properly:

• Camera: Required to scan QR codes from Serbian receipts. The camera is only used when you actively scan a receipt
• Location: Used to display receipts on a map and show your current location ("Where I am"). This makes it easier to navigate and organize your receipts by location. Location data is stored only locally on your device and never sent to our servers
• Storage: Used to save your scanned receipts locally on your device

Data Retention

Since all data is stored locally on your device:

• Your receipts and data remain on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app
• Uninstalling the app will permanently delete all your local data
• We have no way to access or recover your data as it never leaves your device
• No cloud synchronization: Your data is not backed up to iCloud or any other cloud service

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service:

• Google Firebase Analytics: For anonymous usage statistics only. No personal data or receipt content is shared. Learn more at Firebase Privacy Policy

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new privacy policy on this page.
